Harmony Companion Home Care also has Community Residential Rehabilitation, providing homes for adults who are intellectually challenged, or otherwise developmentally disabled. We strive to create a home-like atmosphere that promotes a safe and healthy environment for the residents we serve. Our priority in this program is to increase our resident’s independent living skills, to maximize their ability to have a satisfying lifestyle by focusing on their needs and providing services that will assure their health, safety, well-being and support through structure and supervision. We enhance the Principles of Everyday Lives: Choice, Control, Quality, Stability, Safety, Individuality, Relationships, Freedom, Success, Contributing to community, Accountability, Mentoring, Collaboration and Community Integration. Day services include competitive community-integrated employment, education, vocational training, volunteering, civic minded and other meaningful opportunities to the individual. An individual service plan will include what is needed and relevant to each case.
A Community Residential Home is made up of apartment style bedrooms accommodating up to four residents, a dining room where residents congregate and eat as well as a living room for them to relax.
We operate in the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Montgomery and Philadelphia.
We cordially invite you and your family to visit our home or office. Simply call in advance to let us know when you’d like to see our group homes.
